A North Alabama native, Linda now lives 30 minutes west of Huntsville. Most of her spare time is spent with her husband Greg and their family at church-related activities or playing with their hybrid wolves, Kodie and Blue, walking through the woods or just relaxing by the creek. She is an an active member of her church where she is on the Drama Team and member of the Music Staff where she plays the synthesizer-keyboard. Micah 6:8--He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. The goal of Linda and her team in their personal and business lives is to model this verse.

Reared in Limestone County, Linda grew up on a dairy/cotton farm where her parents taught her and her sisters the meaning of honest hard work, good ethics and a love for nature and the land. 

Linda attended college at Calhoun Community College in Decatur, AL; University of North Alabama in Florence, AL; Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC; and Bowling Green University in Bowling Green, Ohio, studying music and psychology. In 1991, she received her real estate license and has since enjoyed serving people by helping them find the home that says, "Buy me, buy me." She has also enjoyed helping her clients sell their home to get the most money for their property in the shortest amount of time, making the process seem simple and easy.

Linda has learned the importance of education during her career in real estate. She enjoys being on the cutting edge of change and being able to offer her clients the necessary knowledge for representation all areas of their real estate transactions.

Linda realized the importance a team is to the success of a career in real estate, and in 2003 became the team captain of The Linda Coons Team. This endeavor has resulted in great success for the team and its clients. In 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 The Linda Coons Team achieved the RE/MAX 100% Club award. In 2003 and 2004 Linda was voted by her peers to receive the Cooperative Spirit Award which recognizes the intangible qualities of individuals in a RE/MAX sales office. Award winners are chosen by their peers for overall contributions to the office in terms of helpfulness.

Betty Hutchison, ABR, GRI, SRES

Betty brings a unique mix of experience and people skills to The Linda Coons Team, specializing in national and international relocation. As a buyer representative, she has helped many families relocating to North Alabama from all over the country and the world.

As an Army wife for over 20 years, Betty's multicultural expereince was gained through living in several international countries. She speaks Spanish fluently and has a working knowledge of several other languages. Her multicultural experience was further enhanced by serving as one of Army's Family Relocation Advocates; assisting Army families relocate and settle in many European Army Communities. Betty has also been a medical supervisor for the Army and a teacher's aid in Los Angles, CA. This experience, combined with her unique mix of people skills, makes her the perfect buyer representative for families relocating to North Alabama form all around the country and the world.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Betty has lived in North Alabama for several years, enjoying spending time with her three grown children and four beautiful grandchildren.

Greg Coons, Team Administrator

A former Vice President of Operation for a communications company who began his career as a linesman and advanced to administration. Today, Greg applies his considerable work ethic to The Linda Coons Team as a licensed real estate agent, with much of his efforts focused on appraisal and administration.

Like Linda, Greg's pride and joy are their seven children, five grandchildren and their foster daughter in Romania. The couple enjoys spending time with their wolves, Kodie and Blue, walking through the woods, relaxing by the creek, and traveling, fishing and boating on Wheeler Lake. Greg and Linda area also active members in Central Baptist Church's Focus Group, where they attend mission trips and help build other churches.
