Huntsville Hospital Ranked 9th Largest Public Healthcare System in the nation by Modern Healthcare, a national healthcare business news weekly magazine. The hospital systems were ranked by the number of staffed acute-care beds reported in a 2009 survey. Huntsville Hospital has 912 beds. Popular Science magazine named Huntsville one of the top 50 of America’s 50 Greenest Cities. Huntsville ranked 18^th place and was the highest of any city in the South.
