Welcome to my first Blog. I look forward to bringing you news about Madison and Huntsville, Al. Since my website went on line this week and I was leaving for the RE/MAX International Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada, the blog for this next week will be about my trip.
Any time I leave for a trip everything starts happening. After rushing around trying to get everything completed before leaving, we left at 1 PM. When we drive through Town Creek, Al., my husband Greg always has to stop and order a Slaw Dog from Dairy Queen. He says they are the best in the world-believe me he knows Slaw Dogs. I ordered a Chili Dog-also good, but not the best in the world. LOL.
We ventured on through Mississippi and Tennessee and Arkansas. I am always amazed at how these 3 states look so similar. We stopped to eat supper at the Cracker Barrel on the east side of Little Rock, AR. Greg ordered the Fried Cod Fish special and I ordered a bowl of turnip greens with corn bread (can you tell I was born and raised in the south?). Both orders were great.
Sherry Alford from Montgomery, Al. called and wanted me to show her son a home in the Hampton Cove, AL area on Saturday. This happens every time I leave home-I have a referral that comes in. Betty Hutchison, my team member is great with buyers; she said she was available to work with them.
We stayed at the Best Western Sherwood Inn in Clarksville, AR Exit 58. This night. For $50 a night, king sized bed with pillow top mattress, spacious nice clean updated room it was a great buy and very comfortable. The breakfast was continental with donuts etc. I would definitely stay there again. Amanda at the front desk was super; she even came to our room and got our internet working for us. Most front desk employees would have told us to call tech support at an 800 number. The first rest stop in Arizona had picnic areas with colorful Teepees over the tables.
